• The expectations for 7th and 8th grade students include the following: Students will be respectful to the teacher, other students, other adults present, themselves, and the property of others and themselves. Students need to be prepared for class everyday.  This includes bringing their workbook, notebook, writing utensil, agenda, science folder, and their homework to class.  Students are expected to do their best on assignments, turn assignments in on time, write legibly, and make sure that a complete heading including your first and last name is on the assignment! Pen or pencil may be used but if using pen their paper should be done neatly without lots of scribbled out spaces and done with ink that is readable.  Students are expected to turn in their own work when it is collected to the appropriate folder for their section! Each student is responsible for doing this. NO SHARPIE MARKERS OR OTHER PERMANENT MARKERS ARE ALLOWED IN CLASS.  IF THEY ARE BROUGHT TO CLASS THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED AND NOT RETURNED! Electronic device policy:   Phones and other devices should be shut off and left in the student's locker.  If a student brings their phone to class they will be asked to put it in the cell phone bin until the end of class! iPads should be used for educational purposes only! Discipline: Students are expected to make good decisions in regards to their behavior. A verbal warning, seat change, or a write up may be given for bad behavior decisions. 7th and 8th grade students can expect the following from Mrs. Bentley: Mrs. Bentley will be respectful in return to students. Assignments will be graded as soon as is possible.  Mrs. Bentley will be as flexible as possible for students. Mrs. Bentley will work with students who need extra help!
