    Kindergarten Expectations:

      • Follow and respect School rules
      • Be a good citizen in and out of the classroom (helping others, taking care of our school and classroom, respect others, use good manners)
      • Come to school ready to learn and grow with everyone around you
      • Be on time and prepared (return all homework and papers that must come to school)
      • Keep your body to yourself and use your words when solving problems or communicating with others
     
    • Behavior System:
      • Every child has the opportunity to fill a punch card by earning 1 punch for each day of good choices.  Once the card is full that child then receives a reward coupon (no homework, free computer time, lunch in the class, etc.) and a new card to work on filling up. 
      • Every child has the chance to earn paws for making good choices throughout the school during the whole day.  Those paws can then be cashed in for additional rewards (a spin on the wheel with multiple rewards available, using a pen for a lesson, earning a prize basket, etc.)
      • Every child has a bee with his or her name on it
      • If a child is not listening or following the rules his/her bee will be moved and he/she will lose 5 minutes of recess
      • If that child continues to make bad choices his/her bee will be moved and he/she will lose 10 minutes of recess
      • If that child continues to make bad choices his/her bee
      • will be moved and then I will contact parents/guardians
      • If a child regularly has his/her bee moved further consequences may have to be made (such as lunch detention or losing other priveleges at school)
      • Once recess is lost it cannot be earned back (every choice has a consequence and once we make a choice we must live with that consequence)
