Sixth Grade Social Studies
This year we will be taking an exciting look into the Eastern Hemisphere. We begin our journey with a quick review of map skills and culture. Then we dive right into the Stone Age. After the Stone Age, we begin studying the Ancient Civilizations. They include Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, and Rome. We keep up with current events through our weekly Time For Kids. Throughout the entire year we will be working with Historical Reading Skills when we study documents.
