Student Board Representative

The corner of the school with the words "Genesee Valley Central School" on the side

We are excited to offer one of our students the opportunity to serve as a Student Representative on the Board of Education for the upcoming school year.

The student rep will attend monthly BOE meetings and provide a brief report highlighting events, activities, and student perspectives from within the building. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, represent their peers, and gain valuable experience in school governance.

To be eligible, students must:

  • Be enrolled in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade (in the year they serve)
  • Be in good academic and behavioral standing
  • Have been a student in the district for at least 2 years

Students wishing to be considered must submit a letter of interest explaining why they would like to serve, any relevant experience or skills, and what they hope to contribute. Letters must be sent to Mrs. Donlon in the high school office by April 17.
