Mrs. Donlon has worked at Genesee Valley since 2007. Before becoming the 7-12 building principal, she taught Global Studies 9, US History, Psychology, Sociology and Driver Education. She received her bachelor's and master’s degrees from Roberts Wesleyan College and her School Building Leader certificate from Saint Bonaventure University.

"My favorite thing about our district is the wonderful people who care deeply about our students’ success and overall well-being," said Sara. "During my time here I have met many amazing students and co-workers who have enriched my life in countless ways."

In her spare time she likes to read, specifically biographies and memoirs. She has also been known to give lessons on parallel parking to students gearing up for their road test!

Amber serves as our 7-12 Secretary to the Principal and is a proud alumni of the district. In her role, she manages administrative tasks, supports the principal, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the school.

Her dedication and commitment to the GVCS community are evident in her work and her strong connection to the district. She holds a degree in Human Services Management.

Outside of her professional life, Amber is happily married to her husband, Michael, and they have three wonderful daughters: Amelia, Eloise, and Ila. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she loves spending her free time with her loved ones and their pets. Amber also enjoys cooking, reading, and planning events for family and friends, adding a personal touch to every gathering.
