This charity has long been supported by GV students, athletes, staff, teachers and administration. It was started by Amy Drake’s family, including sister Tiffany Gordon, an employee of GV, after Amy’s passing from breast cancer.
Amy was an Angelica Central School graduate and lifelong Angelica resident. Her children are both graduates of GV – Lexi in ’18 and Spencer in ’20. Many of the students of GV looked forward to the annual Amy Drake Memorial 5k. They would walk or run to honor the mother of their friends and teammates. Many would come as a team to do the walk.
This year, due to Covid-19, it was decided to hold off on the walk, but the family and organizers still wanted to raise money in Amy’s honor to donate to Allegany County Services, which has been a beneficiary of the walk since its inception.
White’s Imprints in Cuba has graciously opened an online store for the charity and we would like to get the word out to the GV Community.
Please visit the Amy Drake Store at White Imprints. All money earned will be donated to those who are fighting their own fight and to Allegany County Services.
